Deposit & Balance

Deposits & Final Payment Timeline

Your deposit amount and balance due date will always appear clearly at checkout. For Ecuador tours, the typical structure is:

  • Deposit: 40% of the total trip price, due within 7 days of booking to confirm your reservation.
  • Balance due: 90 days before your trip start date.
  • Late bookings: If you book within 91 days of departure, full payment is required within 7 days of booking.
  • Overdue payments: If a balance is not paid on time, your booking may be canceled and cancellation fees applied.

Your invoice will always display the exact deposit and balance due dates for your itinerary.

Cancellation Policy

120 days or more before departure: 25% of the total trip value retained.

91–119 days before departure: 40% retained.

90 days or fewer before departure: 100% forfeited.

Galápagos cruises and charters: Many vessels enforce stricter rules; your booking confirmation will show the specific terms that apply.

After trip commencement: No refunds are available.
